I heard my arm pop as Ray let go of me.
I heard the man start screaming for help.
Then an argument before I plummeted deep into the sea.
The water was freezing, and my body got numb.
I opened my eyes in the salty water.
My eyes started to sting, but I wanted to see if I could see anything.
The water was a deep blue,
just like my moms.
I couldn't see the bottom of the ocean,
but I didn't want to.
I started swimming up,
but it was difficult being pushed around my the current.
I was losing my breath,
I was never a swimmer.
I started to panic,
and thought about everything good that was in my life.
My mom, Will, and the few friends I have.
My mom would have wanted me to live, so I kept trying.
I was losing air but I pushed my legs even harder.
Then, something along side me came into the water.
Another person?
Maybe it was the man who was standing up for me.
Surely he could swim well.
The body came towards me,
and as quick as they came down,
they brought me back up.
Before I knew it, I was being hugged.
Why was this man hugging me?
I couldn't see because of the salt in my eyes,
but then I heard the familiar whisper
"I told you I'd find you."
It was Will.
"Will!" I screamed and hugged him tighter.
We started to sink down, so I let go.
He grabbed my hand and started swimming.
I looked around and the land was farther than I thought, we must have drifted off.
We swam for almost a half hour and barely got half way.
Both of our legs were exhausted,
we couldn't do anything else.
My head bobbed in and out of the water,
and Will had to hold me up,
although I saw he was struggling too.
"Hey! Do you guys need help!"
It was an elderly voice.
But where was it coming from?
I then realized that it was an old man in a boat.
He drove towards us, and gave us a hand.
He pulled us up and sat us down.
Then he pulled off his hood,
but it wasn't an old man anymore.
It was Ray.
